Role Summary
Luxoft is seeking an experienced Salesforce Engineer to join our Cross Industry Solutions practice in a fully remote capacity across India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, end-to-end Salesforce architectures across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution by authoring Apex, building Lightning Web Components (LWC), orchestrating complex third-party system integrations, and mentoring engineering team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Architecture & Solution Design: Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technical architecture using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Custom Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain custom software components using Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL queries, and Visualforce pages.
- Salesforce Configuration: Configure enterprise standard and custom objects, validation rules, Flow automations, approval processes, and page layouts.
- Integration Engineering: Define and implement secure REST/SOAP integration patterns connecting Salesforce with external data sources, legacy systems, and middleware platforms.
- Governance & Code Quality: Enforce Salesforce security architecture (role hierarchies, profiles, permission sets, sharing models), execute peer code reviews, and drive automated deployment via Git and CI/CD toolchains.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 4 to 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, architecture, and configuration experience.
- Core Technical Skills: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce APIs.
- Key Methodologies: Secure Salesforce SDLC, Release Management with Git/CI-CD, Component Reusability, and Agile/Scrum Delivery.
- Preferred Capabilities: Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, Application Architect), exposure to MuleSoft, CPQ, Experience Cloud, or test automation tools (Provar, Selenium).
