Cloud Engineer / Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Software Development

Role Summary

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Software Development for its technology team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this cloud engineering role, you will design, build, and operate production-grade distributed systems powering electric vehicle, charging infrastructure, and mobile platforms. You will own services end-to-end, lead technical architecture design, manage Kubernetes containerized workloads, and leverage AI-native engineering tools across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture & System Design: Architect, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-native backend services and distributed systems using Golang, Java, Python, or C#.
• Container Orchestration & Event Streaming: Deploy and operate high-availability microservices on Kubernetes, integrating NoSQL databases and event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQTT).
• End-to-End Delivery & Production Operations: Lead technical code reviews, design discussions, API development, and production incident troubleshooting for connected vehicle platforms.
• AI-Native SDLC Acceleration: Utilize AI tools and coding agents across technical requirements, design, automated testing, code review, and operational workflows to reduce toil.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering and cloud development experience.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Production experience with Kubernetes, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Golang, Java, C#, or Python, NoSQL databases, and distributed microservices.
• Preferred Capabilities: Experience with Kafka, MQTT, AI-assisted development tools, API design for high-concurrency systems, and basic frontend exposure (React/TypeScript).
