Role Summary
KLA is looking for a DevOps Engineer in Chennai to help design, automate, and scale the infrastructure, systems, and services supporting its software products and development ecosystem. The role focuses on AI-enabled DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, and automation to improve software delivery and platform reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD: Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- AI-Enabled DevOps: Integrate AI capabilities into CI/CD processes for intelligent code review, deployment validation, root cause analysis, and change impact assessment.
- AI Knowledge Systems: Build and maintain knowledge repositories, AI skills, prompts, and contextual data sources that improve AI effectiveness across the software development lifecycle.
- Cloud & IaC: Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Containerization: Deploy, operate, and optimize containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Automation: Automate operational and deployment processes using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
- Reliability: Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and platform performance initiatives.
- Engineering Collaboration: Work with software development, quality engineering, and infrastructure teams to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience with AI Agents / Agentic AI Frameworks for DevOps practices and processes.
- DevOps: Strong knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and software delivery practices.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Containers: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Scripting: Experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
