Role Summary
Kimberly-Clark is hiring a Senior EDI Data Analyst for its Pune Kharadi Hub under a hybrid work model. In this key IT integration role, you will provide EDI business configuration, monitoring, and error-resolution support for Kimberly-Clark’s North American Consumer and Professional (KCP) sales divisions. You will manage end-to-end B2B data exchanges, map data structures between external customer specs and internal systems, optimize SAP IDoc flows, and implement Lean continuous improvement initiatives to drive touchless, error-free order processing.
Key Responsibilities
- EDI Queue & Incident Monitoring: Monitor electronic transmission queues, diagnose inbound/outbound payload failures, troubleshoot IDoc processing errors in SAP, and quickly resolve business-critical order blockages.
- System Configuration & Mapping: Analyze customer EDI requirements, build data maps between standardized formats (X12/EDIFACT) and internal structures, and configure SAP partner profiles and table entries.
- Process Optimization & Lean Initiatives: Apply Lean problem-solving tools to eliminate manual touches in the order lifecycle, targeting high First Time Quality (FTQ) and continuous error reduction.
- Performance Analytics & Scorecarding: Track, calculate, and report on key EDI operational metrics, identifying systemic root causes for failure modes and surfacing automation enhancements.
- Documentation & Security Management: Maintain standard operating procedures, mapping specification documents, and partner onboarding guides while administering security role permissions.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in EDI analysis, B2B integration, or enterprise supply chain IT roles.
- SAP Knowledge: Core operational familiarity with SAP Order Management (SD), Customer Master, Material Master, IDoc architecture, and Partner Profiles.
- Tooling & Standards: Proven experience with OpenText (GXS) or major third-party EDI mapping suites, alongside deep familiarity with standard transaction sets (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 846).
- Technical Competencies: Proficiency in data structures (XML, CSV, JSON), SQL querying, and data analysis tools (Excel, reporting software); exposure to programming languages (Java, C++, or VB.Net) is a plus.
- Communication & Ownership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to bridge technical specifications with business stakeholders across North American time zones.
