Role Summary
JSW Motors Limited is hiring an SME - IT Infrastructure Operations for its Mumbai headquarters. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations, stability, and high availability of enterprise and manufacturing IT infrastructure. You will manage incidents, resolve network connectivity issues, support cloud (Azure/AWS) and on-premise servers, maintain end-user devices, enforce security patch compliance, and coordinate with OT teams for plant-floor IT integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Operations & Incident Management: Monitor enterprise IT infrastructure performance, manage P1/P2 incidents and service requests within SLA targets, and perform root-cause analysis for continuous service improvement.
- Network & Server Administration: Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity across offices and plant floors; maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Manufacturing & Plant IT Support: Support connectivity and infrastructure for MES, handheld scanners, HMIs, and shop-floor hardware, collaborating with OT and cybersecurity teams for seamless IT-OT integration.
- Security Compliance & Vendor Management: Enforce infrastructure hardening standards, manage patch compliance and endpoint security, and coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware maintenance and escalations.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure Operations or Support (prior exposure to manufacturing or automotive environments is preferred).
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure management, network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), Windows/Linux server administration, cloud fundamentals (Azure/AWS), desktop/laptop support, and security patching.
- Core Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, incident escalation management, and effective communication skills across technical and plant operations teams.
