Role Summary
JPMorgan Chase & Co. is hiring a Reference Data Analyst for its Commercial & Investment Bank (Markets Trading Group) at Embassy Tech Village in Bengaluru. In this documentation management role, you will review complex derivatives legal agreements (ISDA, CSA, F&O, OTC, Prime Brokerage) and extract legal and financial parameters for accurate indexing in enterprise systems. You will collaborate with Legal, Credit, Operations, and Technology teams to resolve documentation issues, support regulatory projects (such as Pushout), and strengthen trading controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Agreement Review & Parameter Extraction: Conduct detailed reviews of derivatives master agreements (ISDA, CSA, F&O, OTC, Prime Brokerage) and extract critical legal and financial parameters into JPMorganChase reference systems.
- Issue Resolution & Control Maintenance: Partner with internal Credit and Legal teams to identify and resolve documentation discrepancies, parameter breaks, and disputed execution terms within defined timelines.
- Regulatory & Migration Project Support: Support Markets regulatory initiatives (such as Pushout) to enable controlled client transfers across legal entities via documentation execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align inputs with regional Legal Operations teams and work alongside Business and Technology partners to optimize reference data workflows and operational controls.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB), Commerce, or a related field. An MBA or postgraduate degree in Law/Finance is preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in derivatives master agreements and trade-related documentation within an investment bank, financial institution, or legal firm.
- Mandatory Technical Skills: Deep understanding of ISDA, CSA, OTC derivatives documentation, reference data indexing, risk/legal parameters, and MS Office.
- Preferred Capabilities: Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, client entity migration/Pushout processes, and flexibility to work shift schedules for international market support.
