Role Summary
Intuit is hiring a Staff Software Engineer - Frontend for its Credit Karma engineering group in Bengaluru. In this technical leadership role, you will architect and build scalable full-stack web applications, experiment management user interfaces, client SDKs, and high-volume microservices. You will write modern frontend code using React, Redux, and TypeScript, construct backend service APIs with Scala and Java, drive platform architectural standards, and mentor senior software engineers across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack & UI Engineering: Design and build responsive frontend user interfaces and experimentation platforms using React, Redux, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Backend Services & Architecture: Architect and deploy high-volume, low-latency backend microservices and APIs using Scala and Java.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Lead by example by providing architectural guidance, conducting peer code reviews, and mentoring engineering team members.
- Experimentation & Platform Scaling: Research and integrate advanced A/B testing methodologies and Big Data infrastructure capabilities to optimize continuous production operations.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical work experience).
- Experience: 8+ years of dedicated professional software engineering experience across full-stack and frontend systems.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Mastery in React, Redux, TypeScript, Scala or Java, GraphQL, SaaS platform design, and scalable microservice architectures.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Experience with Big Data infrastructure, A/B testing frameworks, client SDK development, and high-throughput production operations.
- Core Soft Skills: Strong technical mentorship, collaborative team orientation, accurate project estimation, and a commitment to operational excellence.
