Role Summary
IndiGo is hiring a Lead - DevOps Engineer (SB) for its Gurgaon technology center. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines, GitOps workflows, and containerized deployment infrastructure across Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP). You will manage secrets in Azure Key Vault, configure monitoring dashboards (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), automate operational tasks with PowerShell and Bash, and collaborate closely with development teams to support enterprise .NET Core microservices applications.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD & GitOps Automation: Build and maintain automated release pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, YAML workflows, and Argo CD for GitOps-driven deployments.
- Container Orchestration & Cloud Security: Deploy and manage containerized microservices across Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (OCP) environments while managing credentials and secrets via Azure Key Vault.
- Application Support & Code Quality: Integrate SonarQube for automated security scanning, support 3scale API Gateway configurations, and troubleshoot .NET Core microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Observability & Automation: Configure enterprise observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog; leverage AI-driven tools (GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI) to optimize scripting, testing, and DevOps workflows.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, cloud automation, and software deployment.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Azure Key Vault, PowerShell, Bash, C#, .NET Core, and Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Working knowledge of 3scale API Gateway, React, SQL Server/MySQL, Akamai CDN, Azure Blob Storage, AEM, and AI-assisted automation tools.
- Core Competencies: Solid understanding of SOLID principles, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, Jira workflow management, and strong production troubleshooting skills.
