Business Analyst - AOCS

Role Summary

IndiGo is hiring a business-focused Business Analyst - AOCS for its Gurgaon office. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between aviation regulatory bodies (DGCA, BCAS, MoCA, Immigration), business operations, and technology teams. You will translate regulatory compliance mandates and operational needs into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), FRS, user stories, and process flows while contributing to airport automation projects across passenger processing, baggage handling, security, and ramp operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Program Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of aviation regulatory compliance projects, coordinating with DGCA, BCAS, MoCA, Immigration, and Airport Operators.
• Requirement Management & Business Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document requirements into BRDs, FRS, User Stories, and Process Flows, supporting UAT execution and sign-off.
• Project Delivery & Rollout: Partner with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and Vendors to monitor project timelines, scope, quality, change management, and hypercare activities.
• Process Improvement & Airport Automation: Drive technology-enabled operational improvements across passenger processing, baggage tracking, security systems, ramp operations, and new airport launch projects.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Aviation Management, or a related discipline.
• Overall Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Domain Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience within the airline, airport, or aviation domain managing regulatory projects (DGCA, BCAS, MoCA).
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Business Analysis, SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, BRD/FRS drafting, process mapping, and UAT planning.
• Preferred Technical Exposure: Experience in digital transformation, API integrations, enterprise airport operational platforms, and baggage/passenger automation systems.
