Role Summary
Infosys Limited is hiring an AWS DevOps Specialist for its Application Development and Maintenance team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this early-to-mid career cloud engineering role, you will work closely with consulting and delivery teams to design, configure, and automate CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will translate business requirements into functional designs, build Proof of Concepts (POCs), diagnose system deployment issues, and optimize AWS infrastructure workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD & Cloud Automation: Design, configure, and manage automated deployment pipelines utilizing AWS DevOps tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
- Solution Design & POCs: Analyze business requirements, research cloud alternatives, and construct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for AWS cloud architectures.
- Issue Diagnosis & Root Cause Analysis: Troubleshoot configuration issues, diagnose execution failures in cloud environments, and implement effective technical solutions.
- Requirements & Specifications: Create functional design specifications, define to-be deployment processes, and provide accurate effort estimations for project phases.
- Quality Assurance & Initiatives: Execute unit-level validation tests, adhere to cloud security and governance standards, and contribute to organizational technology practices.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech), BCA, MCA, or M.Tech in Computer Science or relevant IT discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of hands-on professional experience in AWS DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure automation.
- Core Technical Stack: Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipeline automation, script-based configuration management, and deployment troubleshooting.
- Preferred Tooling: Exposure to AWS native Developer Tools (AWS CodePipeline, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy) and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic capabilities, with effective verbal and written technical communication skills.
