Role Summary
Illumina is hiring a SAP Developer for its software engineering team at Manyata Tech Park, Bengaluru. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise SAP applications across S/4HANA, ECC, GTS, and EWM modules using Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). You will build OData services, IDocs, RFCs, and Adobe Forms, perform integration testing with external platforms, write technical specifications, and optimize system workflows in an Agile lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- ABAP Application Development: Develop, test, and optimize custom SAP objects using OO-ABAP, Web Services, OData, Proxy services, and standard SAP enhancement frameworks.
- Forms & Workflow Engineering: Design and maintain SAP Adobe Forms, automated approval workflows, and business process enhancements.
- Integration & Testing: Conduct integration testing across external platforms, debug system bottlenecks, and implement break-fix/enhancement items.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical documentation, SOPs, and system design specifications.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on technical experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Strong expertise in SAP ABAP, OO-ABAP, RFC, IDocs, OData, Web Services, Adobe Forms, SAP enhancement framework, and SDLC practices.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, Fiori extensions, SAP GTS/EWM/EAM modules, and OSS note communication tools.
- Core Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, out-of-the-box thinking, and effective communication with global cross-functional teams.
