Role Summary
IBM India Private Limited is hiring an Application Developer-Cloud FullStack for its IBM Consulting FutureNow Center in Chennai. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using microservices architecture. You will integrate frontend, backend, and middleware components across Angular, React, Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST/SOA APIs, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases while leveraging DevOps automated deployment tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Cloud Engineering: Design, build, and deploy end-to-end cloud applications using microservices design patterns across frontend, backend, and middleware layers.
- API & Middleware Integration: Integrate REST/SOA services using APIGEE and API Connect while persisting transactional data across NoSQL or RDBMS databases.
- DevOps & Deployment Pipelines: Apply DevOps practices and automated CI/CD tools to ensure rapid, efficient testing, build, and deployment cycles.
- Cloud Environment Operations: Partner with senior practitioners to manage cloud application environments, focusing on high availability, network security, and configuration management.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's Degree preferred).
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, Angular, React, HTML5, CSS3, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, NoSQL, and RDBMS databases.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Experience with cloud security measures, multi-cloud platforms, and advanced DevOps automation tooling.
