Role Summary
Hilti is looking for a data-driven, proactive Operations Analyst to join our Logistics & Operations organization in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for transforming raw operational data into structured business intelligence, developing automated reporting systems, and partnering across cross-functional teams to elevate operational efficiency, visibility, and performance. You will actively question data integrity, identify performance gaps, engineer interactive Power BI dashboards, automate recurring workflows using Excel (VBA/Power Query), and influence operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard & BI Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust operational dashboards and visual reporting suites using Power BI as the primary platform.
- Workflow Automation: Automate recurring operational reports and data extraction pipelines utilizing Advanced Excel, VBA macros, and Power Query.
- Data Transformation & Hygiene: Extract, clean, normalize, and model large datasets across enterprise ERPs and disparate operational data sources.
- Root Cause & Ad-Hoc Analytics: Conduct deep-dive ad-hoc analyses, anomaly detection, hypothesis testing, and root-cause investigations to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Process Optimization & Cost Tracking: Support logistics and supply chain cost-optimization initiatives by tracking key operational metrics and establishing standardized daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cadences.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Partnering: Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain stakeholders to translate operational pain points into actionable analytical solutions.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Operations Analytics, Business Analytics, or Logistics Data Management.
- Core Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualizations), Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, index/match), VBA programming, and Power Query.
- Key Methodologies: End-to-end reporting lifecycle management, root cause analysis, hypothesis testing, data governance, and operational workflow digitization.
- Preferred Capabilities: Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP systems (SAP, SAP ByD, or equivalent), and prior analytical exposure to supply chain, logistics forecasting, or fulfillment analytics.
