Software / Technical Intern

Role Summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is hiring a Software / Technical Intern for its office in Bengaluru, Karnataka (Hybrid). In this entry-level internship position, you will work alongside senior engineers on technical projects, assist with maintaining software/hardware systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and gain hands-on industry experience in edge-to-cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Support: Assist senior team members on technical development, system maintenance, and engineering tasks assigned by the business unit.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Help identify, debug, and resolve software and hardware issues, providing support and suggesting solutions.
• Agile Collaboration: Attend team meetings, learn software project methodologies, and present periodic progress updates.
• Continuous Learning: Actively engage in learning new technical tools, frameworks, and engineering methodologies relevant to the team's scope.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 0–1 years (Open to active university students and recent graduates).
• Mandatory Technical Skills: Basic programming/scripting knowledge in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, time management, and effective verbal/written communication.
