Senior Software QA Engineer

Role Summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is hiring a Senior Software QA Engineer for its Hybrid Cloud group in Bengaluru, Karnataka (Onsite). In this lead quality engineering role, you will define automation strategies and validate next-generation storage architectures (Block, File, Object) for the HPE GreenLake cloud platform. You will build and scale Python automation frameworks, leverage containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), drive CI/CD workflows, and integrate AI-powered tools across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Framework Strategy: Architect, enhance, and scale test automation frameworks using Python for functional, regression, performance, and scale testing.
• Storage & Data Path Testing: Perform deep testing across storage domains (Block, File, Object), protocols, data paths, and file systems in Linux and virtualized environments.
• CI/CD & Container Orchestration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git/GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• AI Integration & Process Leadership: Incorporate AI tools and AI-driven workflows into testing methodologies while collaborating across distributed global Scrum teams.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, system engineering, and automation framework development.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Python, Storage testing (Block/File/Object), Linux/Unix, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and networking fundamentals.
• Preferred Technical Exposure: AI-based SDLC workflows, storage protocols, and enterprise cloud platform testing.
