Role Summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is looking for a Python Developer to design, develop, and support scalable web-based automation platforms for manufacturing partners and business operations. The role combines Python development, enterprise application engineering, AI/ML, Generative AI, and cloud-native technologies in a fast-paced onsite environment in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Platform Development: Define, design, and develop scalable web-based automation platforms supporting manufacturing partners and business operations.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain functional design specifications, process workflows, system integration documentation, and connectivity architecture documentation.
- Production Troubleshooting: Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and reverse engineering to resolve complex production incidents.
- Testing & Quality: Develop and execute unit, integration, and system testing strategies to ensure solution quality, reliability, and performance.
- AI/ML Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy AI and ML solutions, including Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agent frameworks.
- Enterprise Integration: Integrate AI capabilities into applications, APIs, and business workflows while considering responsible AI, security, compliance, and ethical practices.
- Large-Scale Projects: Contribute to the planning, design, implementation, deployment, and support of complex enterprise technology projects.
- Technical Leadership: Apply independent judgment to solve technical problems, recommend solutions, and support project delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Experience: Typically 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Python & Data Science: Strong proficiency in Python and data science tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter Notebooks.
- AI & Machine Learning: Experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI agent frameworks.
- Backend Development: Experience with Python, Java, Django, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Laravel, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Databases: Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle Database and NoSQL databases such as Apache HBase and MongoDB.
- Cloud & Microservices: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Vert.x.
- APIs & Web Services: Experience with SOAP, REST, Flask, FastAPI, and NGINX.
- ML Frameworks: Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Frontend Technologies: Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English and the local language.
