Role Summary
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is hiring a College Intern for its edge-to-cloud technology business in Bengaluru. Designated as a remote/teleworker position, this internship offers students hands-on engineering exposure. You will collaborate with senior engineers on technical projects, troubleshoot software/hardware systems, support platform maintenance, and gain real-world experience across cutting-edge enterprise technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support: Assist senior engineering teams on technical initiatives, deliverables, and project milestones defined by the business unit.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Help identify, debug, and resolve technical issues across software, hardware, and operational environments.
- Systems Maintenance: Support the configuration, maintenance, and regular updates of software platforms and technical infrastructure.
- Team Collaboration & Learning: Participate in Agile team ceremonies, share milestone updates during periodic reviews, and incorporate mentorship feedback to develop technical skills.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of academic coursework or hands-on programming experience (Freshers / enrolled college students).
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Foundational knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, alongside a strong grasp of core computer science principles.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Familiarity with basic scripting, Linux environments, cloud-native fundamentals, and Git version control.
- Core Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, eager-to-learn mindset, effective communication, and time management to meet project deadlines.
