Role Summary
HCLTech is hiring a Senior Automation Test Lead - ETL, DW Automation for its Bengaluru office. In this role, you will lead quality engineering and automation testing efforts across cloud environments, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehouse systems. You will design test strategies, build automated testing frameworks, validate data transformations, and manage team deliverables to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Frameworks: Plan, design, and execute test strategies for cloud-native applications and implement automated testing frameworks.
- ETL & Data Warehouse Testing: Perform ETL testing, data validation, and data reconciliation to guarantee accuracy across data warehouse automation pipelines.
- Scripting & Execution: Develop and run test cases, scenarios, and automated scripts using tools like Selenium and JMeter.
- Team Leadership & Defect Tracking: Lead and mentor the testing team, monitor test outcomes, isolate defects, and collaborate with developers for rapid resolution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to define QA requirements, testing priorities, and delivery timelines.
Key Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Relevant engineering or technical degree with proven leadership experience in cloud automation, ETL testing, and data warehouse QA.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Expertise in Cloud Testing methodologies, ETL processes, Data Reconciliation, Selenium, JMeter, and test automation scripting.
- Preferred Certifications: Professional certifications in Cloud Testing, Automation Testing, or ETL/DW Automation are a plus.
- Core Leadership Skills: Strong team management capabilities, analytical problem-solving skills, and effective stakeholder communication.
