Role Summary
HCLTech is seeking a highly motivated Fresher Generative AI Engineer (Campus - Advanced Beginner) based in Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh. In this role, you will collaborate with senior AI engineers to transition academic knowledge and personal project experience into enterprise-grade GenAI solutions. You will build LLM-powered applications, develop intelligent chatbots, and optimize data pipelines for AI retrieval and model fine-tuning.
Key Responsibilities
- LLM & GenAI Application Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to design and build LLM-powered applications, document search engines, and smart conversational agents.
- AI Framework Integration & Orchestration: Implement workflows using GenAI orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex integrated with vector databases.
- Data & Vector Search Pipelines: Manage text preprocessing, tokenization, and embedding pipelines using standard vector storage solutions (Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS) and SQL.
- Collaboration & Code Management: Maintain project repositories, implement version control practices via GitHub, and document solution architectures.
Key Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech or MCA in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical disciplines (Graduating batch or recent graduates).
- Experience: 0 Years (Freshers with hands-on GenAI project portfolios).
- Mandatory Technical Skills: Strong Python skills (NumPy, Pandas), NLP fundamentals, Transformer architecture knowledge, vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS), LangChain or LlamaIndex, and Git/GitHub.
- Portfolio Requirement: Active GitHub repository showcasing at least one functional GenAI project (e.g., RAG document search, chatbot, automated summarizer, or fine-tuned SLM) or participation in AI hackathons/Kaggle competitions.
