Role Summary
HCLTech is hiring an Analyst – Treasury Operations to support finance and treasury management for UK Insurance clients in Lucknow. The role focuses on suspense account investigations, bank and general ledger reconciliations, transaction processing, journal validation, and month-end financial controls within a regulated financial framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Treasury & Reconciliation: Perform daily investigation and resolution of suspense account items, review outstanding balances, and conduct daily/monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, ledgers, and control accounts.
- Financial Processing: Process treasury-related transactions, upload and validate journals in ERP systems (SAP), review transaction logs, and support payment amendments or cancellations.
- Reporting & Controls: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports while maintaining complete audit trails to support internal and external audits.
- Stakeholder & Query Management: Investigate and resolve finance queries from internal stakeholders, liaise with operational teams to address exceptions, and escalate issues within SLA timelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to standardize and automate accounting workflows while updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Educational & Skill Requirements
- Educational Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or an equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Finance & Accounting, Banking Operations, or Financial Reconciliations. Experience in a UK Insurance environment is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, Data Analysis) and exposure to ERP platforms (SAP preferred).
- Functional Competencies: Strong numerical capabilities, knowledge of Month-End Close, Cash Management, Exception Management, and Financial Audit controls.
