Role Summary
GlobalLogic is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer for its software product engineering organization in Bengaluru (Remote option available). In this role, you will work within an Agile Scrum team to design, code, test, and deploy medium to complex software features across both frontend and backend layers. You will build backend microservices with Java and Spring Boot, create responsive frontend interfaces using React.js, build RESTful APIs, manage AWS infrastructure, and mentor junior engineers across the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Application Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain features across frontend (React.js) and backend (Java / Spring Boot) meeting engineering best practices.
- API & Cloud Integration: Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs, integrate them with frontend UI components, and deploy/manage application infrastructure on AWS.
- Code Quality & Testing: Conduct peer code reviews, execute unit/integration test suites, and troubleshoot full-stack bugs to maintain product quality.
- Agile Collaboration & Mentorship: Participate in all Scrum ceremonies, document system architecture and workflows, and provide guidance to junior team members.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 4.5 years of hands-on full-stack development experience across web applications.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, RESTful APIs, AWS cloud deployment, Git, and full-stack unit testing.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Experience with Storybook, Maven, Bamboo/Jenkins/Harness, Ansible, Snyk, SonarQube, and AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Core Soft Skills: Critical thinking, diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, proactive communication, and an Agile team mindset.
