Role Summary
GlobalLogic is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer for its software product engineering team in Bengaluru. Operating under a hybrid work model, you will work within a Scrum team to design, develop, test, and deploy medium to complex full-stack application features. You will build backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot, construct responsive frontend interfaces using React.js, integrate RESTful APIs, and manage application infrastructure on AWS cloud substrates.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Application Engineering: Design, code, and maintain scalable software features using Java/Spring Boot for backend services and React.js for frontend user interfaces.
- API & Cloud Management: Build and integrate RESTful APIs with React components and manage cloud deployments on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Quality & Code Governance: Perform peer code reviews, execute unit/integration test suites, conduct full-stack debugging, and enforce code quality criteria across the SDLC.
- Agile Collaboration & Documentation: Active participation in all Scrum ceremonies, updating technical architecture documentation, and mentoring junior software engineers.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of full-stack software development experience across web applications.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, RESTful APIs, AWS cloud deployment, Git, and unit/integration testing methodologies.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Experience with Bamboo/Jenkins, Ansible, SonarQube, Snyk, Storybook design systems, and AWS services (Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Core Soft Skills: Critical thinking, full-stack diagnostic skills, independent task ownership, and collaborative Agile communication.
