Role Summary
Genesys is looking for an Application Developer - Salesforce to join its Go-To-Customer team in Chennai. The role focuses on developing and enhancing customer and partner-facing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, Experience Cloud, integrations, and Salesforce security capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Development: Develop and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and Experience Cloud.
- Security & Sharing: Configure and maintain permissions, sharing rules, and data-access models for internal and external users.
- Integrations: Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST APIs and authentication frameworks.
- Testing: Develop automated unit and integration tests and maintain strong code quality following Salesforce development best practices.
- Development Lifecycle: Participate in design, development, code reviews, CI/CD, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Collaboration: Work with product, business, QA, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Revenue Cloud: Learn and contribute to Salesforce Revenue Cloud / RLM capabilities.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Salesforce Skills: Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Salesforce Flow, and Experience Cloud / Communities.
- Security: Good understanding of Salesforce security and sharing, including permission sets, sharing rules, and external-user access.
- Integrations: Experience with REST API integrations and authentication concepts such as OAuth.
- Development Practices: Experience writing Apex unit tests and following Salesforce development best practices.
- DevOps: Familiarity with Git, Salesforce DX (sf CLI), and CI/CD processes.
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud / CPQ, PRM, OmniStudio, Okta/SSO, fflib, GitHub Actions, automated testing frameworks, or Salesforce packaging.
- Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is preferred.
