Role Summary
Fujitsu is hiring an Application Developer - Informatica Data Engineer for its delivery center in Pune, Maharashtra. In this senior data engineering role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and advanced SQL. You will build scalable source-to-target integrations, implement data quality and reconciliation controls, automate data workflows with Python, and optimize database queries to support enterprise digital transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- IDMC Pipeline Development: Design and build complex ETL/ELT workflows, reusable mappings, taskflows, and parameter-driven integration components on Informatica IDMC.
- Advanced SQL Engineering: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, and aggregations across relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Data Integration & Quality: Develop source-to-target mapping logic, implement automated data quality checks, manage error handling/restarts, and enforce data reconciliation controls.
- Performance Tuning & Production Support: Monitor pipeline execution, optimize SQL queries and mapping bottlenecks, troubleshoot job failures, and resolve production incidents.
- Testing & Deployment: Prepare unit test scenarios, validate record counts and business transformations, support UAT, and migration across environments.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years of hands-on data engineering experience specializing in Informatica ETL/ELT technologies and SQL development.
- Core Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud), advanced SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
- Automation & Scripting: Working knowledge of Python for task automation, scripting, and file/data processing.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving capabilities, clear communication skills, and the ability to work independently with end-to-end delivery ownership.
