Role Summary
EY Consulting is hiring a Senior Data Analytics Test Lead (Testing-ETL-Senior) for its Data & Analytics practice in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this role, you will define test strategies, design automated and manual test cases, and lead end-to-end data validation across ETL pipelines, cloud data warehouses, and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms. You will validate data accuracy across systems like Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, AWS, and modern reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos) to ensure enterprise-grade data quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Execution: Develop test plans and execute manual and automated testing for complex ETL data pipelines, data warehouses, and BI reporting interfaces.
- Complex Data Validation & SQL: Write advanced SQL scripts to validate data integrity, transformation rules, schema consistency, and reconciliations across databases (Snowflake, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, Postgres, Redshift).
- Cloud & Big Data Quality Assurance: Validate unstructured and structured datasets across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data platforms (Databricks, Azure Synapse, Spark/Hadoop).
- Defect Triaging & Team Leadership: Lead defect triaging sessions, track bugs to resolution in HP ALM, coordinate cross-functional teams, and mentor junior QA engineers.
Key Qualifications
- Education: BE, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of overall IT testing experience, with at least 3 years specializing in ETL, Data Warehousing, and BI Analytics testing.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: ETL tools (Informatica, SSIS, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory), BI reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Qlik), advanced SQL, and relational/cloud databases (Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle).
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Big Data (Hadoop/Spark), Databricks, Python data processing, Shell/Perl scripting, Master Data Management (MDM), HP ALM, and database performance tuning.
- Work Setup: Full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
