Role Summary
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Software Engineer with full-stack development experience to design, develop, test, and deploy web applications and APIs. The role involves working with Python, Flask, TypeScript, MongoDB, and RESTful APIs while collaborating with developers, business analysts, and architects in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications and APIs using modern development technologies.
- Backend Development: Build application services using Python, Flask, RESTful Web APIs, and MongoDB.
- Frontend Development: Develop web application components using TypeScript and CSS.
- Software Engineering: Follow SDLC practices, coding standards, engineering principles, and development best practices.
- Architecture: Design and develop solutions using n-tier architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Design Collaboration: Participate in technical design discussions with developers, business analysts, and architects.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to engineering improvements and adapt to new and challenging technical requirements.
- Agile Collaboration: Work within Scrum teams and contribute to collaborative software development practices.
Key Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience developing software solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Flask, MongoDB, RESTful Web APIs, TypeScript, CSS, and JSON.
- Good understanding of n-tier architecture and RESTful API development.
- Experience with unit testing and software development best practices.
- Ability to participate effectively in technical design discussions.
- Experience with AI/ML projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS is preferred.
- Knowledge of SOA principles and continuous integration environments is preferred.
- Experience with Git or DevOps is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex international environment.
