Role Summary
Epsilon is hiring a Software Engineer (Frontend / UI/UX) for its Automotive Practice in Bengaluru. Operating under a hybrid work model, you will develop, implement, and maintain responsive UI/UX-based applications and reusable web components for automotive marketing and service reminder platforms. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to translate Figma/Photoshop design systems into production-ready web interfaces, optimize page-load performance, integrate RESTful APIs, and create unit test suites.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend UI/UX Development: Design, build, and maintain responsive, mobile-first web applications using semantic HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, BEM), JavaScript/TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Alpine.js.
- Design Translation & Prototyping: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma and Photoshop mockups into accessible, cross-browser compatible, and pixel-perfect user interfaces.
- API Integration & Performance Tuning: Connect frontend components with backend RESTful APIs, handle JSON datasets, and optimize frontend metrics (lazy loading, asset compression, Core Web Vitals).
- Testing & Agile Collaboration: Write unit tests, assist QA teams with functional test case validation, create technical specifications, and actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Key Qualifications
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or related engineering field, or MCA (regular course only).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in frontend web development and UI/UX design implementation.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS (v3/v4), Alpine.js, Responsive Web Design (RWD), Figma asset handoff, and Git/GitHub.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Experience with Angular, Node.js, ASP.NET, C#, REST API integration, WCAG accessibility standards, and exposure to Generative AI / LLM development tools.
- Core Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and a self-motivated team-player mindset.
