Role Summary
eInfochips is hiring a Senior Engineer - Advanced Flight Management System (FMS) Aerospace. In this role, you will design, develop, integrate, and verify safety-critical FMS avionics software under DO-178B/C guidelines. Operating within a DevOps environment, you will drive software quality, DO-178 Level A verification, code optimization, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- FMS Software Development: Design, code, integrate, and verify safety-critical Flight Management System (FMS) embedded real-time software.
- DO-178 Compliance & Verification: Execute DO-178 Level A verification routines, ensuring full software lifecycle compliance with DO-178B/C standards.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, continuous integration, and engineering process improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Systems, Certification, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver optimized solutions.
- Quality Ownership & Mentorship: Own overall product code quality, perform defect analysis, and mentor junior software engineers.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
- Experience: 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in avionics software development with mandatory experience in Flight Management System (FMS) software.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of C/C++, embedded real-time software development, scripting, and DO-178B/C standards.
- Desirable Exposure: Experience with DO-178 Level A verification, Display Products, User Interface (UI) design, and DevOps practices.
