Fullstack Developer and QA Intern (Cybersecurity SaaS / Industry 4.0)

Role Summary

DTSecLabs is seeking an ambitious and technically minded Fullstack Developer and QA Intern to join our cybersecurity team in a fully remote capacity across India. In this 3-month internship (open to full-time or part-time commitment), you will build and test secure web software for our Industry 4.0 cybersecurity SaaS platform. You will work across the entire stack—developing responsive front-end components, writing resilient back-end services, conducting test-driven quality assurance, and researching attack-surface reduction strategies for converged IT/IoT/OT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Fullstack Web Development: Design and develop secure, clean, and maintainable web applications using Python, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React or Angular).
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Create, maintain, and execute software test scenarios to ensure high software quality, security standard compliance, and bug-free releases.
• API & Database Management: Build and integrate RESTful APIs and handle data persistence with relational and non-relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Containerization & Cloud Support: Package software using Docker and assist in managing cloud components on AWS.
• Security Research & Collaboration: Conduct technical research on Industry 4.0 vulnerabilities and collaborate closely with distributed engineering squads using Git and Figma.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (preferably in the 4th/final year).
• Experience: 0 to 1 year (academic projects, internships, or open-source software contributions).
• Core Technical Skills: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React or Angular, REST APIs, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and Git version control.
• Key Methodologies: Test-Driven Development (TDD), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Clean Code Standards, and Manual/Automated QA.
• Preferred Capabilities: Basic exposure to Docker, AWS, cybersecurity practices (vulnerability assessment, OT/IoT network fundamentals), and Figma design handoffs.
