Role Summary
Delta Capita is seeking motivated Junior and Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Database Engineers (Analyst / Senior Analyst) to join our Regulatory Reporting Services practice supporting ReportHub—our flagship regulatory reporting platform utilized by tier-one global financial institutions. Located in Bangalore or Pune in a hybrid working arrangement, you will be responsible for administering, scaling, automating, and securing the Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and SQL Server database environments that underpin this mission-critical enterprise platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud & Database Administration: Deploy, manage, and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure services (VMs, Networking, Key Vault, Entra ID) and relational database environments (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance).
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Configure and manage Always On availability groups, automated backup regimes, failover testing, and disaster recovery (DR) protocols to ensure maximum business continuity and resilience.
- Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Implement and maintain automated provisioning pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, and PowerShell scripting.
- Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting: Analyze database execution plans, tune complex T-SQL queries, resolve index fragmentation, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, database, and application-level bottlenecks.
- Observability & Governance: Monitor platform health, capacity, and security using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Grafana; ensure adherence to financial regulatory compliance, security, and audit standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Architecture, and Production Support teams across release cycles and operational enhancement initiatives.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, database administration (DBA), or cloud-database operations.
- Core Technical Skills: Microsoft Azure core services, Microsoft SQL Server administration, Azure SQL, T-SQL performance tuning, Always On High Availability, and PowerShell scripting.
- Key Methodologies: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), CI/CD Automation (Azure DevOps/Git), Backup & Disaster Recovery Design, and Observability/Monitoring.
- Preferred Capabilities: Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS), enterprise monitoring platforms (Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk), and prior exposure to SaaS platforms within financial services or regulatory technology domains.
