Role Summary
Deloitte is seeking an Active Directory AM to join its Active Directory Services team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on administering enterprise Active Directory and identity services, resolving infrastructure issues, supporting authentication services, and improving the reliability and security of the organization's identity platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Active Directory Administration: Administer and maintain domain controllers, Group Policy, directory topology, replication, Global Catalog servers, security configurations, and schema changes.
- Account Lifecycle: Manage user, service, generic, and vendor account lifecycle activities through Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Manager.
- Infrastructure Services: Support and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, Windows authentication, authorization, and directory services.
- Incident Management: Resolve Active Directory incidents, service requests, break-fix issues, and recurring problems using established processes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, knowledge-base articles, and operational runbooks.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and test disaster recovery procedures for Active Directory, DNS, MIM, and Network Policy Server.
- Infrastructure Collaboration: Partner with infrastructure teams, application owners, and vendors on infrastructure design, supported versions, and major-incident response.
- Service Improvement: Contribute to continual service improvement and operational process enhancements.
- Technical Leadership: Participate in the Active Directory on-call rotation and provide guidance to junior team members.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree.
- 6–8 years of experience in Active Directory administration.
- Strong experience with Active Directory architecture and infrastructure, including LDAP, replication, restoration, Group Policy, security configuration, and schema management.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, Windows authentication, and single sign-on integrations.
- Experience managing account lifecycle processes using Microsoft Identity Manager.
- Experience resolving Active Directory incidents, service requests, break-fix issues, and recurring problems.
- Experience working with ITIL incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Experience with PowerShell and Active Directory administration tools is preferred.
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or Microsoft AZ-800 certification is preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Varonis, SCOM, SolarWinds, RSAT, ADUC, or GPMC is preferred.
