Role Summary
DataArt is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with NetSuite experience to support business process optimization and enterprise system evolution for a premier global non-profit organization focused on financial education and certification. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical execution teams, managing complex requirements, refining backlogs, and optimizing NetSuite ERP workflows across inventory, purchasing, planning, and finance streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Backlog Management: Elicit functional requirements, write detailed user stories, break down epics, and manage team backlogs in Jira using Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
- NetSuite Process Optimization: Analyze and improve core business workflows within Oracle NetSuite, covering purchasing, inventory levels, production schedules, and financial operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between business leads, product teams, and engineering specialists to align technical deliverables with client expectations.
- Reporting & Market Insights: Provide management with analytical reports, assess customer needs, and review product availability and inventory metrics.
- Solution Validation & Delivery: Verify that developed software solutions fulfill acceptance criteria and meet business goals prior to deployment.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional business analysis experience, including 3+ years working directly with enterprise software products and 1+ year hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite.
- Core Business Analyst Stack: Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe), Jira, backlog refinement, user story mapping, and process modeling.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of business operations, supply chain purchasing, inventory management, production planning, and finance workflows.
- Nice to Have: UI wireframing/drafting skills, BPMN process modeling, or recognized certifications such as IIBA CCBA/CBAP, PMI-PBA, or IREB CPRE.
