Role Summary
Cybage is hiring a C++ Developer for its Engineering department in Pune. In this role, you will contribute across the software development lifecycle—from planning and UI design to implementation, testing, and maintenance for global sports broadcast technology. You will write high-performance C++ code, apply computer vision techniques, optimize legacy systems, handle multithreaded memory management, and drive code architecture for real-time applications.
Key Responsibilities
- C++ Product Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software components for global sports broadcast applications using C++.
- Performance & Memory Optimization: Optimize existing software modules focusing on multithreading, memory management, and low-latency system performance.
- Code Quality & Architecture: Write clean, testable, well-documented code while participating in code reviews, mentoring, and advancing architectural directions.
- Computer Vision & Legacy Evolution: Implement computer vision algorithms and modernize large legacy codebases while building new system capabilities.
- Process Continuous Improvement: Contribute to automated build pipelines, development tools, unit testing workflows, and engineering best practices.
Key Qualifications
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering streams.
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on software development experience with C++.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Strong command of C++ programming, computer vision principles, multithreading, memory management, performance tuning, and version control systems.
- Preferred / Nice-to-Have: Experience with CUDA programming, Qt, machine learning technologies, scientific computing/real-time systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build tools.
- Core Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, clear communication skills, and ability to work independently or collaboratively in distributed teams.
