Role Summary
CrowdStrike is seeking a high-caliber, hands-on Engineer III – Cloud SDET to join the Get Data In (GDI) Integrations Platform team within our Next-Gen SIEM division in Bengaluru. In this role, you will architect, build, and scale automated testing infrastructure and validation platforms for connectors and parsers that ingest multi-terabyte data streams into CrowdStrike's AI-native Falcon platform. You will lead architectural decisions for quality engineering, implement AI-powered test generation techniques, and ensure bulletproof reliability across distributed cloud pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Infrastructure & Framework Architecture: Design, engineer, and maintain scalable, reusable testing frameworks and test utilities in Python or Go for ingestion pipelines, parsers, and data connectors.
- AI-Powered Test Engineering: Integrate Generative AI and machine learning techniques into automation suites to accelerate test case generation, optimize test execution, and predict regression risks.
- CI/CD & Containerized Workflows: Embed automated test suites into continuous integration and deployment pipelines utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud deployment tooling.
- Quality Analytics & Observability: Build real-time monitoring, metrics collection, and diagnostic reporting dashboards to track test execution health, code coverage, and defect escape rates.
- Technical Leadership & Standards: Drive architectural discussions, define engineering test standards, conduct peer code reviews, and author developer-facing test API documentation.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience: 6+ years of strong programming and quality engineering experience as an SDET or Automation Architect working with large-scale distributed systems.
- Core Stack: Advanced programming proficiency in Python or Go, deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, log parsing, data streaming architectures (Kafka), and practical application of GenAI/ML in testing workflows.
- Professional Competencies: Self-driven autonomy, exceptional technical debugging aptitude, and proven capability to collaborate across distributed global teams in an Agile environment.
