Role Summary
CrowdStrike is hiring an Engineer III - Cloud for its Falcon Fusion SOAR platform team in Pune, Maharashtra. In this mid-to-senior backend software engineering role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-scale SOAR connectors and microservices that integrate third-party cybersecurity platforms (SIEM, EDR, IAM, Ticketing) with CrowdStrike's AI-native Falcon Platform, handling hundreds of millions to billions of daily events.
Key Responsibilities
- Connector & Microservice Development: Design, build, and maintain production-grade SOAR connectors and backend microservices using Python or Go.
- End-to-End Connector Ownership: Own integrations end-to-end—from API research and authentication configuration through to deployment and production support.
- Authentication & Security Protocols: Implement secure authentication mechanisms including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and API keys across platform integrations.
- CI/CD & Operational Ownership: Build automated testing frameworks, deployment pipelines, and runbooks while troubleshooting production incidents across global multi-region deployments.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 6+ years of backend software engineering experience building and maintaining SaaS products and distributed microservices.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Advanced Python or Go (Golang), microservices architecture, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and large-scale system debugging.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Commercial cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity integrations (SIEM/SOAR/EDR), CI/CD automation, and open-source contributions.
- Work Setup: Full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra.
