Role Summary
Comcast is hiring a Data Analyst 3 for its analytics organization in Chennai. In this role, you will work independently with business leaders to transform complex multi-source datasets into strategic insights and predictive models. You will perform exploratory data analysis, build forecasting models, leverage self-service reporting tools, and present data-driven narratives to influence executive-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analytics & Insights: Combine and analyze complex data from disparate enterprise sources to uncover key business drivers and operational insights.
- Predictive & ML Modeling: Build forecasting models to predict core business metrics and leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to process complex raw datasets.
- Executive Storytelling: Craft and deliver clear, narrative-driven presentations and visual dashboards for company executives and decision-makers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with cross-functional business leaders to translate strategic objectives into technical requirements and self-service analytics frameworks.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of coursework and experience).
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of professional experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Advanced SQL, core statistical concepts, data modeling, exploratory analysis, and data storytelling/visualization.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, LLMs, machine learning frameworks, and advanced slide presentation tools.
- Core Soft Skills: Strong active listening, analytical problem-solving, structured organization, and high-impact communication.
