SAP CPI / Generative AI Developer

Role Summary

Cognizant is hiring an SAP CPI / Generative AI Developer for its Technology & Engineering practice in Bangalore (Hybrid). In this specialized integration and AI engineering role, you will design and implement enterprise data integration flows using SAP CPI-DS (Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services) and build Python applications powered by Generative AI and Prompt Engineering techniques. You will optimize complex data pipelines across enterprise systems, specifically supporting Supply Chain and Multi-Channel domain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP CPI-DS Integration: Architect, configure, and manage SAP CPI-DS integration pipelines to connect disparate cloud and enterprise systems.
• Generative AI & Python Engineering: Develop custom Python applications and engineer GenAI prompts to automate business workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Testing & System Optimization: Ensure data pipeline scalability, perform technical troubleshooting, conduct code reviews, and maintain application reliability.
• Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical architectures and system user guides.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 6–10 years of software engineering and integration experience.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: SAP CPI-DS, Generative AI frameworks, Prompt Engineering, Python programming, and enterprise data integration methodologies.
• Preferred Technical Exposure: Domain knowledge in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Multi-Channel sales landscapes.
