Role Summary
Cognizant is hiring a Junior SDET (Python - AI Quality Engineering) to join its Quality Engineering team in Noida. This role offers an opportunity to build automation frameworks while validating next-generation AI-powered applications, chatbots, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions. You will work across functional, API, and generative AI testing workflows to ensure high-quality enterprise software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts, utilities, and testing accelerators using Python.
- Functional & API Testing: Execute functional, integration, regression, and API test suites across web and mobile platforms.
- AI & LLM Validation: Validate AI-powered applications, copilots, and conversational interfaces by designing test scenarios for prompt validation, response evaluation, and AI workflow testing.
- AI Quality Specifics: Perform specialized AI quality checks, including hallucination detection, output accuracy assessment, model behavior validation, and AI security checks.
- Agile & CI/CD Delivery: Integrate test automation into continuous testing pipelines (CI/CD), identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements across the SDLC.
Key Qualifications
- Core Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
- Programming Depth: Strong hands-on coding skills in Python.
- Automation Proficiency: Hands-on experience building or maintaining test automation scripts for Web, Mobile, or API applications.
- Software QA: Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test execution, SDLC, and QA standards.
- Preferred AI Exposure: Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, Hallucination Testing, and AI Evals (Evaluation metrics).
- Preferred DevOps Exposure: Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD tools.
