Role Summary
Clarivate is hiring an IP Admin Senior Analyst for its Intellectual Property Operations team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Hybrid). In this operational role, you will review, docket, and de-docket statutory deadlines and official correspondence issued by the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and international patent offices into Intellectual Property Management Systems (IPMS). You will partner with attorneys, paralegals, law firms, and clients to maintain global IP records, ensure timely fee payments, and uphold strict data integrity across patent and trademark prosecution lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- IP Docketing & De-Docketing: Calendar statutory and non-statutory prosecution deadlines, office actions, and filings in IPMS; close out completed calendared events to preserve global IP rights.
- Record Creation & Maintenance: Review patent and trademark documentation (US and international), creating and updating family-linked records according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Stakeholder Communication: Interact directly with attorneys, paralegals, foreign law firms, and vendors to clarify docketing instructions and track prosecution status.
- Fee Coordination & Filings: Facilitate accurate and timely payment of PTO maintenance fees and annuities, coordinating order letters and client payment instructions.
- Quality Control & Auditing: Perform internal quality checks and PTO audits on docket entries, provide query resolutions, and deliver on-the-job training (OJT) to team members.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, BA, or MBA) with a minimum 50% aggregate score.
- Experience: Open to Freshers (2025–2026 Batch) OR candidates with 18+ months of experience in backend operations/IP administration.
- IP Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with USPTO / global patent office filing procedures and IP management software (IPMS) is strongly preferred.
- Technical & Soft Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), strong data evaluation skills, and effective written and verbal communication.
