Java Full Stack Developer with Angular

Role Summary

Capgemini is hiring an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with Angular for its Software Engineering division in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this full-stack engineering role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable Java Spring Boot microservices and build responsive frontend web applications using Angular and TypeScript. You will design RESTful APIs, manage SQL database models, and collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver end-to-end enterprise digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Microservices Engineering: Architect, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance microservices and RESTful web services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Frontend Web Development: Build modular, responsive, and cross-browser compatible web user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and modern CSS/SCSS design standards.
• API Integration & Databases: Design and integrate REST APIs connecting frontend components with backend microservices, write optimized SQL queries, and perform database schema design.
• Agile Collaboration & Code Quality: Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, perform code reviews, troubleshoot application bottlenecks, and maintain continuous delivery practices using Git and CI/CD tools.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
• Experience: 3 to 8 years of software engineering experience in full-stack Java and Angular development.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular (v2+), TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL databases, and Git version control.
• Preferred Capabilities: CI/CD pipeline automation, automated testing frameworks, and containerization awareness.
