Java Angular FullStack Developer

Role Summary

Capgemini is hiring a Java Angular FullStack Developer for its Software Engineering group across Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune. In this full-stack engineering role, you will design and develop scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, JSP, Servlets, and Angular. Additionally, you will leverage AI-assisted coding platforms (such as GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, and Claude) and integrate agentic development methodologies for intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Stack Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular on the front end and Spring Boot, JSP, and Servlets on the back end.
• API & Microservices Architecture: Build, maintain, and scale RESTful APIs and enterprise microservices to ensure application performance and security.
• AI-Driven Development: Incorporate agentic development principles and modern AI coding assistants (Copilot, Windsurf, Claude) to accelerate delivery.
• Collaboration & System Design: Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, unit testing, and cross-functional delivery alongside QA, UI, and DevOps teams.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 6–12 years of hands-on experience in full-stack Java software development.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Core Java, Spring Boot, JSP, Servlets, Angular, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.
• Preferred Technical Exposure: Agentic AI frameworks and AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Claude).
