Azure Virtual Desktop Specialist / EUC Engineer

Role Summary

Capgemini is hiring an Azure Virtual Desktop Specialist / EUC Engineer for its Workplace Management group across Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. In this senior Cloud VDI role, you will architect, implement, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/WVD) infrastructure—including pooled and personal host pools. You will optimize user profile management using FSLogix and MSIX App Attach, configure Azure storage and networking components, handle golden image management and patching, and troubleshoot complex End User Computing (EUC) enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• AVD Architecture & Management: Design, implement, and manage pooled and personal Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, user identities, and access controls.
• Profile & Application Virtualization: Architect and optimize profile containers and app delivery using FSLogix, MSIX App Attach, and modern workspace technologies.
• Image & Storage Engineering: Customise, patch, and maintain golden OS images, managing underlying Azure storage and networking (DNS, Firewalls, Proxies, Micro-segmentation).
• EUC & VDI Troubleshooting: Resolve complex performance, connectivity, and session-level issues across Cloud VDI and End User Computing platforms.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 7+ years of professional experience as a Windows Desktop / EUC Engineer with hands-on expertise in Cloud VDI technologies.
• Mandatory Technical Stack: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/WVD), FSLogix, MSIX App Attach, Windows OS administration, and Golden Image management.
• Preferred Technical Exposure: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (ADC, PVS), Azure Networking, Microsoft 365, and Enterprise Mobility + Security (EM+S).
