Role Summary
Capgemini is hiring an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer across its major technology hubs in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune. In this engineering role, you will design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS core services, deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, build CI/CD automation pipelines, containerize applications using Docker/EKS, and enforce robust security and cost-optimization standards across production enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure & IaC Automation: Architect and manage AWS resources (EC2, VPC, IAM, Route53, Auto Scaling, Lambda, CloudWatch) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- CI/CD & Containerization: Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and Jenkins; orchestrate containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Scripting & System Monitoring: Write operational automation scripts using Linux, Bash, and Python; configure observability dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Kibana.
- Cloud Security & Cost Governance: Implement AWS security practices (IAM policies, KMS encryption, secrets management) and optimize cloud workload costs and operational efficiencies.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Experience: 6 to 9 years of overall IT experience, with 4+ years of dedicated experience in AWS Cloud and DevOps automation.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: AWS Core Services, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), GitHub Actions / AWS CodePipeline / Jenkins, Python/Bash scripting, and Linux administration.
- Preferred Capabilities: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / AWS Certified Solutions Architect qualifications, CloudFormation, and enterprise logging/monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Kibana).
