Role Summary
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is hiring a Global Product Senior Analyst for its HR Digital Product Portfolio within the Candidate Selection squad in Gurgaon. In this product analysis and business systems engineering role, you will partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, developers, QA, and external SaaS vendors to translate business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, and technical specifications. You will guide changes from requirements through validation, release readiness, and production support for BCG's global talent acquisition platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation & Backlog Refinement: Facilitate workshops with business and engineering teams to transform complex talent acquisition problems into structured Jira user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Solution Co-Creation & SaaS Management: Partner with developers, QA teams, and third-party SaaS vendors to bridge functional and technical requirements, performing hands-on SaaS configuration and functional enhancements.
- Production Support & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and prioritize assigned production issues, collaborate with squad engineers and vendor support to identify root causes, and drive bug resolutions.
- Release Readiness & Change Enablement: Prepare comprehensive release notes, define validation test scenarios, and partner with Learning & Development teams to produce user guidance and adoption materials.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst within an Agile software environment.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Jira, Confluence, requirements documentation frameworks, user story design, process modeling, and HR/Talent Acquisition technology platforms.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: SaaS platform administration, ServiceNow, MuleSoft integrations, REST APIs, system troubleshooting, and release management.
