Role Summary
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is hiring a Global People Analytics Senior Analyst for its Global People Analytics and People Management Team in Gurgaon. In this business intelligence and HR analytics role, you will design, develop, and manage advanced Tableau and Power BI dashboards to support evidence-based talent decision-making. You will write complex SQL queries, perform ETL data modeling, analyze employee lifecycle metrics (from candidate sourcing to attrition), and present data-driven insights to leadership across BCG's global offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Engineering & Data Visualization: Design, build, and maintain advanced Tableau and Power BI interactive dashboards using custom DAX expressions, Level of Detail (LOD) calculations, and UX/UI best practices.
- Data Modeling & SQL Engineering: Execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from disparate enterprise systems into scalable, high-performance data models and Hyper extracts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Thought Partnership: Act as a quantitative thought partner to Global People team leadership, providing actionable insights across talent acquisition, employee engagement, career development, and attrition.
- Data Governance & Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous data validation, testing, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment across internal HR platforms.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or quantitative fields (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience: 5–7 years of full-time experience in Tableau and Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, and SQL database querying.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Advanced Tableau (LODs, custom charts), Power BI (DAX, Power Query), SQL (database querying and optimization), ETL pipelines, and data modeling.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Tableau Server management, Tableau JavaScript APIs, HR/People domain data analysis, and advanced MS Excel.
