Role Summary
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Global IT Platform Engineer Manager to join the Technology and Engineering team in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. In this full-time role, you will combine technical expertise with strategic leadership to oversee the development, deployment, and configuration of digital Smart Booking and Smart Office platforms across global offices. You will drive process automation, integrate AI-augmented SaaS capabilities, and bridge the gap between business stakeholders and Agile squads to power seamless digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Operations & Rollout: Lead the worldwide implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Smart Booking and Smart Office digital platforms across BCG offices.
- Process Automation & AI Integration: Build and implement automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Power Automate, and Alteryx while integrating AI-augmented SaaS capabilities using LLMs, Agentic AI, and MCP servers.
- Agile Backlog & Requirement Management: Facilitate stakeholder discovery, elicit functional/non-functional requirements, and author clear epics and user stories for Agile squad execution.
- Data Analytics & Visualization: Query and manage datasets across SQL and Snowflake platforms to build executive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
- Stakeholder Support & Governance: Provide end-user support, troubleshoot complex platform issues, and ensure adherence to cloud security, access management, and data privacy standards.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting digital products, SaaS platforms, or platform engineering in a complex enterprise environment.
- Core Technical Skills: SaaS Configuration, Python, PowerShell, Power Automate, SQL, REST APIs, Power BI, Tableau, and Agile Frameworks (Jira, Trello).
- Key Methodologies: Agile/Scrum Execution, Automated Workflow Engineering, System Gap Analysis, and Distributed Platform Maintenance.
- Preferred Capabilities: Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Alteryx, Agentic AI/LLMs, ServiceNow, and cloud security frameworks.
