Role Summary
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is hiring a Global Cybersecurity Associate - Security Operations RT Operator for its Gurgaon office. Embedded within the Global Offensive Security team, you will participate in adversary emulation exercises, red team engagements, and penetration testing across Active Directory, web applications, endpoints, and cloud environments to test and validate BCG’s enterprise security controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Red Team Engagement & Execution: Support red team engagements including reconnaissance, initial access, post-exploitation, lateral movement, phishing simulations, and social engineering campaigns.
- Offensive Infrastructure & Scripting: Maintain and operate Command-and-Control (C2) infrastructure, attack tools, and build automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Penetration Testing & Assessments: Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network, endpoint, web application, and cloud environments using tools like Metasploit, BloodHound, and Burp Suite.
- Purple Teaming & Documentation: Document attack paths and technical evidence to generate high-quality reports while collaborating with SOC and Incident Response teams during purple team exercises.
- Research & Methodology: Research emerging threat actor TTPs, AI-led offensive tools, and contribute to internal security playbooks and training materials.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or a related cybersecurity discipline.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Proficiency with Metasploit, BloodHound, Burp Suite, scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash, MITRE ATT&CK framework, Active Directory attack techniques, and networking fundamentals.
- Valued / Preferred Background: Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), CTF participation, bug bounty programs, reverse engineering, malware analysis, or defensive tools (SIEM, EDR).
- Core Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, eager learning mindset, and clear technical writing and reporting skills.
