Role Summary
Bosch is hiring an Infrastructure Operations Lead for its enterprise cloud and platform operations unit. In this technical leadership role, you will manage multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructure platforms, automate configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), drive observability and incident resolution, and lead continuous improvement across globally distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management & IaC: Design, automate, and maintain cloud and on-premises environments using Terraform and Ansible across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Observability & Operational Excellence: Monitor performance, availability, and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Loki; execute root cause analysis (RCA) and disaster recovery (DR) protocols.
- Automation & Innovation: Integrate Python/PowerShell/Bash scripting and AI/GenAI-driven workflows to streamline operations and eliminate toil.
- Service Leadership & Governance: Serve as technical owner for infrastructure services, drive customer engagement, enforce security/compliance standards, and mentor cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
- Experience: 7 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Operations, Cloud Engineering, or Managed Services within 24x7 global operational models.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible), Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and Monitoring/Logging stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Loki).
- Preferred Exposure: RHEL/Linux Administration, OpenStack (Nova, Neutron, Swift, Keystone), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and ITIL practices.
