Role Summary
Boeing Digital Services Technology India is hiring an Associate Software Engineer – Java for its Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this full-stack enterprise software development role, you will design, build, and deploy Java-based digital solutions, RESTful microservices, and modern web applications for commercial aviation and enterprise systems. You will work within an Agile team to deliver high-quality code, automate testing, troubleshoot production issues, and integrate cloud and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Fullstack Module Development: Design, develop, and integrate scalable full-stack modules using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern frontend technologies (React or Angular).
- Testing & Agile Execution: Write automated unit tests (JUnit, TDD), participate in code reviews, estimate user stories, update task statuses in daily standups, and resolve application bugs across dev, QA, and production environments.
- Database & Integration Engineering: Model databases, construct complex SQL queries/data extraction scripts using JPA/Hibernate, and integrate applications with authentication services (SSO, Azure AD, SAML).
- DevOps & Cloud Deployment: Build automated release pipelines using Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and deploy cloud application features on Microsoft Azure PaaS services.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional full-stack software development experience in enterprise applications.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, React/Angular, SQL, JUnit, Git, Maven.
- Preferred Technical Exposure: Microsoft Azure PaaS (App Services, Blob, Redis Cache), Docker containerization, Azure DevOps/GitLab CI pipelines, Tomcat/IIS servers, Linux/Windows administration.
