Role Summary
Bosch Global Software Technologies is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer - Cloud DevOps in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this cloud data operations role, you will maintain, scale, and optimize batch data pipelines and Lakehouse architectures running on Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory. You will automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), manage CI/CD deployment pipelines via GitHub, and perform cost optimization and incident management across enterprise cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Data Pipeline Operations: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot large-scale batch data pipelines in a cloud Lakehouse environment to maintain high availability and performance SLAs.
- Databricks & Cost Optimization: Fine-tune Azure Databricks workloads, cluster sizing, and underlying cloud infrastructure to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
- DevOps & Automation: Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, write PowerShell scripts for operational task automation, and configure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Azure IAM permissions.
- Incident & Quality Governance: Drive proactive incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous operational process improvements across cross-functional global teams.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory operations.
- Mandatory Technical Stack: Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitHub, Azure IAM, CI/CD pipelines, and PowerShell.
- Preferred Capabilities: Azure Batch accounts, cloud monitoring/logging frameworks, and exposure to automotive domain data architectures.
